Cashmere Care

Cashmere is naturally breathable and self-refreshing. Between wears, simply lay your piece in open air to restore its softness and shape.

For spot cleaning, hand wash in cold water using a gentle cashmere soap or delicate shampoo—never bleach. Roll the garment in a clean towel and gently press out excess water. Do not wring or twist. Before washing, use a cashmere comb to remove any visible pilling.

While damp, carefully reshape the garment and lay it flat to dry in the shade. Avoid hanging or direct sunlight, and allow it to dry fully before storing or wearing again. If you choose to dry clean, select a cleaner that avoids harsh solvents like trichloroethylene. To preserve color and fiber integrity, limit the frequency of professional cleanings.

Merino Wool Care

For minor stains, use a soft cloth to blot—never rub. To wash, fill a sink or basin with lukewarm water and add a wool-safe detergent. Gently submerge the garment, allowing it to soak for 10–20 minutes without agitation. Rinse in clean, lukewarm water until it runs clear, supporting the full weight of the garment to avoid stretching. Carefully press out excess water—do not wring. Wrap the piece in a dry towel and press again to absorb moisture. Reshape gently and lay flat to air dry, away from direct heat or sunlight. Avoid overstretching while damp, as this may alter the garment’s fit. We recommend avoiding dry cleaning, as traditional solvents can compromise the wool fibers over time.

Storing Your Knitwear

Always store your knitwear folded—not hung—to preserve its shape and structure. Cashmere and merino wool contain natural keratin, which can attract moths. Store garments with cedar balls or natural repellents like lavender sachets to help protect the fibers. Following these care practices will help maintain the longevity, softness, and silhouette of your knitwear for seasons to come.
